In 2000, Barbara Burgi adopted 5 months old dachshund Prada and discovered how difficult is was to find cool, classic, high quality accessories for dogs that were also functional. With her education in Fashion and love for pets, she started Dogs department in 2006. Dogs department designs accessories for dogs and their best friends. The fun loving accessory brand is not only located in the Netherlands but also designed, fit and made right here in Holland.
Barbara believes the secret of Dogs department lies in the materials and how it is made. Dogs department only uses the highest quality materials and the products are being hand made by experienced and skillful experts in the Netherlands. So your dog, big or small, feels comfortable while moving, sleeping, eating and still looks just as great as his owner.
